Painting laborer

Southside Superior Contract PAinting are looking for an experienced painting laborer for an immediate start. This position is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week based in Gold coast QLD . The painting laborer will be responsible for the following duties; Use painting tools and equipment, as well as handling painting materials · Exercises Good interpersonal and communication skills · Is able to inspect products and/or materials for conformity with established operational standards · Assists in the provision of on-the-job training · Perform work under limited to no supervision either individually or in a team environment · Apply workplace health and safety requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry · Read and interpret plans and specifications · Work safely at heights · Apply OHS requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry · Erect and maintain trestle and plank systems · Remove and replace doors and door and window components · Prepare surfaces for painting · Apply paint by brush and roller · Apply texture coast paint finishes by brush, roller and spray · Apply paint by spray Match specified paint colour · Apply stains and clear timber finishes · Apply wallpaper · Apply decrative paint finishes · Remove fraffiti and apply protective coatings · Apply protective paint coating systems · Implement safe lead paint and asbestos work practices in the painting industry · Apply advance wallpaper techniques · Apply intumescent coatings · Apply advance decorative paint finishes · Apply trowelled texture coat finishes · Glaze/reglaze residential windows and doors For this position it is expected that you would possess the following qualifications/work experience: minimum 1 year experiance in the painting industry preferably hold or working towards cert III painting & decorating Annual Salary - $79,499 If you are interested in applying, please forward your Resume to southside.superior@outlook.com
