Key responsibilities

* Provide high-quality care and supervision to children according to their individual needs.

* Support children’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.

* Plan and implement age-appropriate educational and play-based activities.

* Assist children with daily routines, including meals, rest and personal hygiene.

* Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.

* Observe, document and contribute to children’s learning and development.

* Maintain a clean, safe and organised environment.

* Follow relevant health, safety and child protection requirements.

* Communicate effectively with families and the wider team.

* Work collaboratively with other educators to provide a high standard of early childhood education and care.
