Silverline Plastering Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Solid Plasterer / Renderer (Solid Plaster) to join our team in Western Australia.

The successful candidate will undertake solid plastering and rendering work across residential and commercial projects, applying decorative and protective finishes using plaster, cement, render and similar materials.

This is a permanent full-time position offering approximately 38 hours per week.

Task & responsibilities

• Prepare internal and external surfaces for plastering and rendering
• Clean and prepare surfaces and remove old or damaged plaster where required
• Mix plaster, cement, render and similar materials to the required consistency
• Apply coats of plaster, cement and render to walls and other structures using trowels and appropriate tools
• Level and smooth coats to achieve a uniform thickness and high-quality finish
• Plumb and straighten corners, angles, walls and ceiling surfaces
• Create decorative textures and finishes in final coats
• Repair and patch damaged or deteriorated plaster and rendered surfaces
• Measure work areas and determine material requirements
• Ensure completed work meets job specifications and quality standards
• Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a safe and serviceable condition
• Comply with workplace health and safety requirements
• Work effectively with supervisors, other tradespeople and construction teams

Qualification & experience

• AQF Certificate III or Certificate IV in a relevant plastering/rendering trade, or equivalent formal training in form of work experience would be preferred, 
• At least two to three years of relevant experience as a Solid Plasterer / Renderer where a formal qualification is not held
• Demonstrated experience in solid plastering and rendering
• Experience preparing and rendering internal and external surfaces
• Sound knowledge of plaster, cement, render and associated materials
• Ability to produce smooth, level and decorative finishes
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Good communication, organization and time-management skills
• Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
• White Card will be highly regarded
