Diesel Motor Mechanic (Mobile Plant Technician)

Tasks will be predominately of onsite repairs/service, with support from our Townsville based workshop. Immediate Start

Operating hours; Monday 7.30am to 4.00pm & Tuesday to Friday 7.30am to 3.30pm. May be occasional requirement to work outside of normal business operating hours.

• Experience working with diesel and petrol engine 
• Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent 
• Carry out Maintenance/Repairs on FORKS4U hire fleet and retail customers
• Hydraulic & Auto Electrical knowledge and advantage
• High level diagnostic ability/ experience
• Possess a positive work ethic, show enthusiasm  
• Work safely in all environments
• Be able to work in a team environment and unsupervised
• Over time repairs when approved by management
• Fit and healthy as there will be some lifting involved 
• Excellent communication skills
• Valid Manual Driver’s license
• Reliable and punctual
• Basic Reading and writing skills
