Your Responsibilities
- Provide product consultation, training and support on power system secondary and Primary systems such as protective relay and scheme testing, power system protection, automation and control, instrument transformer testing, metering, Power Transformers, rotating machines, circuit breakers and other transmission & distribution applications to our customer base.
- Support the marketing & sales activities of OMICRON by actively performing on-site sales demos, participating in trade shows, user meetings and workshops.
- Develop and deliver training for OMICRON's products, both in person and with webinars.
- Support regional application specialist and product management with ideas to improve innovative solutions; translate market requirements into technical specifications
- Assist clients in the practical application and integration of tests and troubleshoot technical problems for customer and sales support.
- Manage and develop application notes and technical papers, including presentations at relevant seminars/conference and OMICRON user workshops
Your profile
- Electrical engineer qualification
- At least three to five (3-5) years of experience preferred in the power industry and hands on experience testing protective relays and commissioning.
- Ability to present products, technologies and test methodologies to technicians, engineers, supervisors, managers and executives via telephone, email, visits, exhibits or webinars
- Reputable business and work ethics and personal character
- Goal and team oriented – willingness to work collectively with others to achieve corporate, regional and personal goals
- Excellent writing, teaching, and presentation skills
- Precise, reliable and autonomous working style
- Client oriented – strong communication skills
- Willingness to travel (up to 50 %)
