About the Role 

InDesign Media Group Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Web Administrator to join our dedicated team in Lawson. In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of our online ecosystem—administering, maintaining, and supporting our websites, servers, and digital systems to ensure they remain secure, fast, and reliable. Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Management: Oversee website hosting, domain configurations, DNS settings, SSL certificates, and user access permissions.

Content & CMS Updates: Maintain and update website content, pages, assets, plugins, and themes across platforms (including WordPress).

Security & Data Integrity: Execute routine backups, conduct rigorous security checks, deploy software updates, and manage recovery procedures.

Performance Optimization: Monitor website availability, traffic, and overall performance, proactively identifying and implementing enhancements.

Troubleshooting & Testing: Diagnose and resolve website errors and hosting faults, ensuring seamless cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.

Collaboration & Documentation: Liaise with internal team members and third-party service providers while maintaining accurate technical records.

Skills & Qualifications

Experience: 2+ years of proven experience in web administration or a similar technical role.

Education: A Diploma, Bachelor’s degree, or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.

Web Technologies: Strong practical knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular Content Management Systems (WordPress).

Server & Hosting Expertise: Deep understanding of hosting environments, DNS, SSL, databases, analytics, and third-party integrations.

Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on web security and rapid issue resolution.

Team Fit: Excellent communication and organizational skills, capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
