Mamak Parramatta Pty Limited

We are currently looking for a skilled and qualified cook to join our team.

Roles and responsibilities include:

• Inspect ingredients to confirm freshness and quality
• Monitor and adjust heat levels on stoves, grills, ovens, and other kitchen appliances
• Store ingredients and cooked items in fridges, freezers, or other temperature-controlled areas
• Cook and prepare dishes according to Mamak’s recipes and standards
• Serve food in proper portions with appropriate sauces, garnishes, and presentation
• Prepare meals that cater to specific dietary needs or restrictions
• Assist in menu planning and help estimate ingredient quantities when needed
• Add spices and seasonings during the cooking process to enhance flavour
• Support the training and development of junior kitchen staff or apprentices

Skills and Qualifications:

• AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)

Experience:

• 1-year minimum experience as a Cook or a related field, or 3 years of experience to substitute formal qualification

• Parramatta NSW 2150

Salary Offered 

• $79,500 per annum, plus superannuation.
