Marree, SA, Full Time, Hospitality Vacancy Listing Dates 14/09/2026 to 12/10/2026 Please Quote Reference Number 18538 - Skilled Hospitality Worker required - Full time opportunity - 38 hours/week - Join the Marree Hotel team Marree Hotel Custodians Pty Ltd ATF Marree Hotel Trust is currently seeking a Hospitality Worker to join their team. The Hospitality Worker contributes to the efficient and professional operation of Marree Hotel throughout both peak and off-season periods. Duties and Responsibilities: - Provide general customer service across bar, dining room and cafe/front-of-house areas during rostered shifts. - Take reservations, greet and seat guests, and present menus and beverage lists. - Set and arrange tables and take food and beverage orders. - Serve food and beverages, and recommend wine and drinks to complement meals. - Open bottles and pour beverages, and conduct wine, beer and spirit tastings as required. - Prepare, serve and sell cocktails, mixed drinks, and bottled, canned and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including espresso-based coffee. - Select and grind coffee and operate coffee-making and espresso equipment. - Clear bars and tables, return dishes, glasses and cutlery to the kitchen, and remove empty bottles and used glasses. - Clean and maintain bar service areas, coffee-making areas and espresso machines; wash glassware and arrange bottles and glasses. - Tap kegs and attach supply lines, and replenish drink dispensers, shelves and refrigerators. - Operate a gaming machine terminal as required within the venue's gaming area. - Collect payments for sales and operate EFTPOS and cash registers. - Promote services and products, and assist with stacking, displaying and preparing stock for sale, including specials. - Support service requirements for tour groups, functions and other organised hospitality activity. - Assist with opening and closing procedures for front-of-house areas as directed. - Apply workplace health and safety procedures and report hazards to the Venue Manager or supervisor. - Comply with liquor licensing requirements and Responsible Service of Alcohol obligations at all times. - Work cooperatively with kitchen, bar and front-of-house colleagues to ensure smooth service. To be successful, applicants must have relevant hospitality experience. Applicants must also have: - Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) qualification. - Sound knowledge of bar, food and beverage service and customer service procedures. - Experience with cash handling and point-of-sale/EFTPOS systems. - Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach. - Ability to work as part of a team in a busy, customer-facing environment. Our ideal candidate will also have: - Ability and willingness to work a roster that includes evenings, weekends and public holidays as required by the hotel.
