Completing pre-makereadies to ensure efficient job changeovers and minimise downtime.

Setting up and operating flatbed die-cutting and embellishment equipment.

Setting and operating dies, stripping and blanking units to achieve accurate, consistent production.

Following job tickets, specifications and production instructions to ensure work meets customer and quality requirements.

Monitoring quality throughout production and making adjustments where required.

Minimising waste while maintaining production efficiency and output.

Assisting with scheduled preventative maintenance and keeping equipment in excellent operating condition.

Maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and good manufacturing practices.

Task & responsibilities

Trade experience and certification in the print/packaging industry as a machine operator is required.

High attention to detail with the ability to think proactively.

Ability to communicate and build relationships at all levels.

Respect for the safety and wellbeing of oneself and others.

Qualification & experience

industry experience as a machine operator in the print packaging industry is required. 

ideally a trade certificate in print finishing is required.
