Task & responsibilities

• Plans, develops and implements educational programs aligned with an approved learning framework 
• Supports and promotes children’s safety, health, wellbeing, learning and overall development 
• Provides guidance and leadership in pedagogical practices 
• Trains, mentors, supports and supervises educators and other staff members 
• Establishes and maintains positive, respectful and reciprocal relationships with children and their families 
• Ensures compliance with service policies and applicable national and state education legislation 
• Collaborates with families, community stakeholders and external organisations to support children’s education, care and wellbeing 
• Documents each child’s learning, wellbeing, development, participation and progress, and regularly communicates this information to their families   

Qualification & experience

• Excellent English skills
• The right to work in Australia 
• Bachelor Degree, higher qualification in relevant field
• Minimum of 1 years of work experience
• Team management skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Strong time management skills
