About the role

This is a hands-on supervisory position responsible for supporting the smooth operation of restaurant service and leading the front-of-house team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising and coordinating our team of Waiters/Waitresses
• Leading the team during restaurant service
• Training and supporting team members
• Ensuring consistently high standards of customer service
• Welcoming guests and assisting with reservations and table service
• Maintaining presentation and service standards
• Supporting opening and closing procedures
• Assisting with stock control and cash handling
• Ensuring RSA, food safety and workplace standards are followed
• Working closely with the Restaurant Manager and kitchen team

About Company

About you

You will ideally have:

• A minimum of 12 months’ full-time experience in a waiter, food and beverage supervisory or similar front-of-house supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of restaurant service
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• The ability to lead and motivate a team
• A professional and positive approach
• Current RSA certification, or the ability to obtain one
• A genuine passion for hospitality, food and wine

This is an opportunity to join an established premium restaurant and wine group in one of Australia's most renowned wine regions.

The successful candidate will be required to live and work in the South West region. This is not a FIFO role.

Salary: $70000-75000
