The Network Administrator position will work closely as head of I.T. Operations with senior management with a strong focus on infrastructure security, and support services of student & staff I.T. needs. The Network Administrator reports directly to CEO/Director and will be responsible for planning, implementing, maintaining and supporting the organization’s IT network infrastructure, ensuring the security, availability and performance of systems across multiple campuses and online learning environments.

Task & responsibilities
Due to continued growth and increasing technology requirements, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Network Administrator to join our team on a full-time basis. We are looking for a full-time Network Administrator with 3+ years of experience working in an international and domestic organization to join our team. In your role as a Network Administrator, your duties will include, but not be limited to, the following;
- Install, configure, maintain and monitor network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless networks and internet connectivity.
- Support Learning Management Systems (LMS), student management systems and other education technology platforms;
- Administer and support Microsoft Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and cloud-based services.
- Maintain network security systems and implement cybersecurity measures to protect organizational data and systems.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity issues.
- Manage backup, disaster recovery and business continuity systems.
- Support virtual learning platforms, online training systems and student management systems.
- Coordinate software updates, system upgrades and network enhancements.
- Manage user accounts, permissions and access controls.
- Liaise with external IT service providers, vendors and telecommunications providers.
- Maintain technical documentation, policies and procedures.
- Provide technical support and guidance to staff across the organization
Qualification & experience
- A relevant qualification in Information Technology, Network Administration, Computer Systems or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in Network Support, System Administration, or Information & Communications Technology.
- Demonstrated experience in an educational institution or similar environment.
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team to plan and execute I.T. infrastructure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physically fit and be able to pass a medical and drug & alcohol screening.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
