Salary: $81,000 per annum + superannuation

About Us

PBX1 Fadez and Cuts is an established barber and hairdressing business located in Lalor Park, NSW. We provide a comprehensive range of professional hairdressing and grooming services to our diverse clientele, including hair cutting and styling, fade cuts, scissor cuts, hair colouring, hair straightening, shampooing and conditioning, beard grooming and other specialised hair services.

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Hairdresser to join our team on a full-time basis.

About the Role

As a Hairdresser at PBX1 Fadez and Cuts, you will provide professional hairdressing and grooming services while delivering a high standard of customer service. You will work with clients to understand their individual requirements and recommend suitable hairstyles, treatments and hair care options.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your duties will include:

• Consulting with clients regarding their hair, hairstyle preferences and hair care requirements, and recommending suitable styles and treatments.
• Cutting, trimming, shaping and styling hair using scissors, clippers, razors and other professional hairdressing equipment.
• Providing hair colouring, straightening, conditioning and other hair and scalp treatments according to clients' requirements.
• Performing a range of contemporary and traditional hairstyles, including fade cuts, scissor cuts, razor cuts, children's haircuts and other customised styles.
• Shampooing, conditioning and preparing clients' hair for cutting, styling and treatment.
• Providing beard trimming, shaping and grooming services as required.
• Advising clients on appropriate hair care, grooming techniques and suitable hair care products.
• Maintaining and sterilising hairdressing tools and equipment and ensuring the work area is clean, hygienic and compliant with workplace health and safety requirements.
• Keeping up to date with current hairstyles, hairdressing techniques, products and industry trends.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, applicants should have:

• Relevant qualification in Hairdressing or equivalent relevant training;
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience as a Hairdresser;
• Demonstrated skills in cutting, styling, colouring and general hair care;
• Experience with contemporary and traditional hair cutting and styling techniques;
• Good communication and customer service skills;
• Strong attention to detail and a professional approach to clients;
• Ability to manage appointments and work efficiently in a busy environment; and
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
