Job Description:

SAMAD GLOBAL PTY LTD trading as Flipp at Church St is seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to join its team. The business is known for serving fresh burgers, shakes and fries using quality ingredients and providing friendly customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting daily store operations, supervising staff, maintaining service standards, managing stock, and ensuring the store operates efficiently. The Retail Manager will work closely with the team to maintain product quality, support sales, and provide a positive customer experience. Previous experience in a similar retail management role, strong leadership skills, and good organisational abilities are essential.

Task & responsibilities

• Oversee the recruitment, training, performance and supervision of staff to maintain effective day-to-day operations.
• Monitor stock quantities, product availability and service standards to meet customer and business requirements.
• Prepare and manage budgets and monitor the establishment’s financial performance.
• Develop and apply purchasing, pricing and promotional strategies in line with business objectives.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, sales and other financial transactions.
• Ensure workplace activities comply with occupational health and safety requirements and relevant regulations.
• Promote the establishment’s products and services through suitable advertising and marketing activities.
• Assist customers with purchases, provide product information and advise on the appropriate use of goods and services.
• Review and determine the appropriate range of products and services offered by the establishment based on customer demand and operational needs.

Qualification & experience

• AQF Associate degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 1 years of experience in a related position.
• Strong  leadership  and  communication  skills  to  manage  and  motivate  the  team. 
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
