An established business in Kwinana, is seeking for a Retail Manager to join its Ascot location on a full-time basis

Position Overview:

The Retail Manager is responsible for overseeing the strategic management, operations, and financial performance of our client's fuel retail sites. This is a senior management role requiring strong leadership, operational expertise, and financial acumen.

Task & responsibilities

• Develop and implement business plans, budgets, and financial forecasts to meet sales and profitability targets.
• Lead day-to-day site operations, ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety, environmental regulations, and fuel handling standards.
• Manage inventory, stock control, and cost-effective operational strategies.
• Recruit, train, and manage staff, including supervisors and console operators, to maintain a high-performing team.
• Analyse sales trends, pricing strategies, and operational reports to drive performance improvements.
• Implement marketing initiatives to increase fuel and retail sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management and liaise with suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Manages supplier relationships and negotiates contracts and pricing.

Qualification & experience

• Diploma or Certificate IV in Management, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a managerial role in retail, fuel, or multi-site operations.
• Proven leadership and people management skills, with experience in workforce planning and development.
• Strong financial management and analytical skills, with experience in budgeting, reporting, and profit optimisation.
• Knowledge of WHS, environmental regulations, and fuel retail compliance standards.
