The PARABURDOO INN is a busy Hotel/Motel in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, Paraburdoo is a mining town situated 1600 km Northwest of Perth that regularly reaches 48 degrees c +. We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic people with a positive outlook. Full-time permanent positions (NOT A FIFO POSITION) Hospitality Allrounders (5 positions) Maintenance / Handy man (2 positions) Cook (2 positions) Award Wages (HIGA) Level 3 at $27.97 M-F plus all penalties and superannuation paid fortnightly, some overtime may be available. Immediate Start for full-time positions. Uniforms and PPE provided. Experience preferred some "ON THE JOB" training available, references and police clearance essential Allrounder duties: FOOD, BEVERAGE AND HOUSEKEEPERING Taking food and drinks orders Serving Food and drinks Operating tills and EFTPOS machines Clearing tables and cleaning Stocking Fridges Cleaning hotel areas and hotel rooms. Laundry Stocking cleaning trolleys Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and be able to work unsupervised. Must pass pre-employment medical and DRUG/ALCOHOL screening COOK/KITCHENHAND Assist Chef Prepare basic meals Washing of kitchen equipment and kitchen. Must pass pre-employment medical and DRUG/ALCOHOL screening MAINTENANCE/HANDYMAN duties: General property maintenance Operate basic tools Operate lawnmowers and garden tools Refrigeration & Electrical knowledge helpful Must be able to work unsupervised and be clean and tidy in the working environment.
