Pressure Welder

M A Building Group Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Pressure Welder to join our team on a full-time basis. The role involves performing pressure welding on pipes, pressure vessels, and structural steel components in accordance with Australian Standards, engineering drawings, and approved welding procedures. Key duties and responsibilities include: Performing pressure welding on pipes, pressure vessels, and structural steel components in accordance with approved welding procedures and Australian Standards. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, welding symbols, and welding procedure speci?cations to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly. Marking out, cutting, and preparing metal sections and pipes using hand tools, ?ame-cutting torches, grinders, and metal cutting machinery. Shaping, aligning, ?tting, and assembling metal components using hand tools, clamps, and precision measuring instruments prior to welding. Joining metal components using pressure welding and other approved welding techniques as required. Inspecting completed welds to identify defects and carrying out repairs to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements and company procedures. Working collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production and project deadlines. This is a full-time permanent position offering stable, ongoing employment with a growing Australian company. Skills and Experience Required: Relevant trade quali?cation in Welding, Metal Fabrication, or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience as a Pressure Welder or similar role. Experience working with structural steel, piping, or pressure-rated components. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding speci?cations. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality. Reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team.
