Retail Manager (Store Manager)

Key Duties and Responsibilities 

• Analyse customer preferences, sales results, seasonal demand and market trends to determine the appropriate product mix, including signature burgers, fried chicken, beverages, homemade sauces and grab-and-go meals. Establish stock levels and customer service standards for Christo’s Landsdale outlet. 
• Develop and implement purchasing procedures, negotiate and coordinate with suppliers, monitor ingredient and packaging costs, and contribute to setting retail prices that support product quality, competitiveness and business profitability. 
• Plan and coordinate local marketing initiatives, special offers, digital promotions and advertising campaigns to promote Christo’s products, strengthen customer engagement and increase in-store and online takeaway sales. 
• Oversee the sale of food, beverages and takeaway products to customers, ensuring employees provide accurate information about menu items, ingredients, meal options, promotions and ordering methods while maintaining high customer service standards. 
• Maintain and review accurate records of stock levels, inventory movements, supplier purchases, product wastage, daily sales and financial transactions, and investigate discrepancies where required. 
• Prepare and monitor the outlet’s operational budget, review sales revenue and expenditure, and implement cost-control measures relating to labour, purchasing, stock, packaging, wastage and other retail operating expenses. 
• Manage staffing requirements by participating in recruitment and selection, preparing staff rosters, allocating duties, conducting induction and training, monitoring employee performance and supervising staff to ensure consistent retail and service standards. 
• Ensure the outlet complies with occupational health and safety requirements by implementing workplace safety procedures, identifying and addressing hazards, monitoring employee practices and maintaining a safe environment for employees and customers.

Qualifications and Experience

• AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2)
• Atleast 1- 3 year experience preferred
