Retail Manager

The Retail Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the business, manage staff and rosters, monitor stock and suppliers, maintain high customer service standards, and ensure smooth and efficient operations. The role will also involve staff training, sales monitoring, cost control and maintaining compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.

Task & responsibilities

Manage daily operations of the business and ensure smooth service.

Supervise staff, prepare rosters and coordinate daily duties.

Train and support staff to maintain high service standards.

Monitor stock levels, ordering, inventory and supplier deliveries.

Monitor sales, costs and overall business performance.

Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve customer complaints.

Ensure cleanliness, presentation and workplace safety standards are maintained.

Assist with promotions, sales strategies and business development.

Maintain operational records and assist with administrative duties.

Ensure compliance with relevant workplace policies and regulations.

Qualification & experience

Relevant qualification in Retail Management, Business Management, Hospitality Management or a related field, or equivalent relevant industry experience.

Minimum 1 year of relevant retail or management experience.

Experience supervising and managing staff.

Strong knowledge of customer service, stock control and daily business operations.

Good communication, leadership and organisational skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Availability to work full-time, including weekends and public holidays as required.
