Position Title – Excavator Operator

Work within the Team as a crew member operating machines and completing general tasks under direction of Supervisor to complete works to specification.

Tasks Include

• preparing and positioning plant for operation
• selecting, fitting and removing attachments such as buckets, winches, loading scoops, shovel blades and rock breaking hammers
• operating controls to excavate, break, drill, level, compact, gouge out, move, load and spread earth, rock, rubble, soil and other materials
• monitoring operation of plant and adjusting controls to regulate pressure, speed and flow of operation, and ensuring safety of other workers
• raising, lowering and manipulating attachments using manual and hydraulic controls
• working from drawings, markers and verbal instructions
• servicing, lubricating, cleaning and refueling plant and performing minor adjustments and repairs
• Operates heavy excavation plant to excavate, move and load earth, rock and rubble
• Registration or licensing is required

Company Requirements & Qualifications and Skills

• able to pass a Full medical examination including a Laboratory Drug and Alcohol test
• National Australian Police Clearance
• comply with all NGE company policies, processes and procedures
• working within applicable controls documented in company Safe Work Method Statement
• wearing and using of personal protective equipment where necessary
• Industry skills and knowledge and experience relevant to the role
• Strong work ethic and to be willing to learn
• Drivers licence
• White card

Full Time Position with a  salary range $120,000 - $130,000pa

Work Type: Full time

Salary: $120000-130000
