About the Opportunity
Our client, farming business located on Lachlan Valley Way in Cowra, NSW, is seeking motivated and reliable Farm Hands to support their team. This is a hands-on role suited to individuals who enjoy working outdoors and being part of a productive agricultural team. You will be a valued team member working in a fast-paced environment that has a focus on safety and wellbeing. We can offer you industry training and supportive management. This role is offered on a casual rate, 6 hours per day for 6-7 days a week, for approx. 4 months.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be involved in a variety of farming activities, including:
- General farm hand and labouring duties
- Assisting with planting, haymaking and harvesting activities
- General crop and property maintenance
- Fencing, drainage and grounds maintenance
- Loading, unloading and handling farm materials and equipment
- Basic cleaning, upkeep and maintenance of farm equipment and work areas
- Following workplace health and safety procedures and assisting with day-to-day farm operations

To be successful, you must meet the following requirements:
- Australian Citizen / Permanent Residency / Full Working Rights in Australia are essential
- Current Driver's Licence (essential)
- Pass a Pre-employment medical check including drug alcohol test
- Physical Stamina, Attention to detail, Strong Work Ethic and willing to work as part of a diverse team
- Be able to provide two reference checks
- Immediate start possible
- Availability across day and afternoon shift - Early morning and Mid-afternoon starts depending on your assigned role and previous experience.
