About the Business:

Universal Stone WA are a well-established stone masonry business based in Rockingham WA, specialising in residential and commercial stonework including custom installations, restorations, and high-end finishes. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a full-time skilled and reliable Stonemason to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cutting, shaping, and dressing stone using both hand and power tools 
• Reading and interpreting plans, drawings, and specifications 
• Laying stone for walls, facades, paving, and structural features 
• Repairing and restoring existing stone structures 
• Mixing mortar and ensuring proper bonding and alignment of stonework 
• Operating machinery such as saws, grinders, and polishing tools 
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with safety requirements 
• Collaborating with builders, site supervisors, and other trades on-site 

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ relevant work experience as a Stonemason 
• Relevant qualification (Certificate III in Stonemasonry or equivalent) preferred 
• Strong knowledge of stone materials, techniques, and tools 
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings 
• High attention to detail and workmanship 
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety 

What We Offer:

• Salary of $75,000 – $85,000 + superannuation (depending on experience)
