The Opportunity Places are filling fast and we are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Teachers, Diploma- and Certificate III-qualified Educators to join our founding team. This is a rare opportunity to help shape the culture, programs and reputation of a state-of-the-art centre from day one, with the full backing of an experienced, supportive group. Roles Available Infants' Room Qualified Educators We are seeking passionate and experienced Diploma and Certificate III qualified educators to work with children aged 6 wks - 2 yrs. In this role, you will need to be able to run multiple routines, understand baby care, bottle feeding, and plan age-appropriate play spaces for children aged 6 weeks to 2 yrs, ensuring children's health and safety and wellbeing are paramount. Full time and part time positions available. Toddler Room Qualified Educators We are seeking passionate and experienced Diploma and Certificate III qualified educators to work with our toddler-aged children. In this role, you will need to be able to develop a routine and curriculum that supports social development and self-help skills, and plan age-appropriate play spaces for children aged 2 to 3 years, ensuring children's health and safety and wellbeing are paramount. Full time and part time positions available. Preschool room ECT and Qualified Educators We are seeking ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teachers and diploma-qualified educators to contribute to curriculum and pedagogical practice across our preschool rooms. You will ensure our preschool children are well prepared to begin their Primary School Educational Journey, ensuring children's health and safety, and well-being are paramount. Key Duties: • Prepare and conduct activities for children, actively contributing to the planning, implementation, evaluation and reflection of the curriculum in consultation with co-workers. • Assist in preparing materials and equipment for children's education and recreational activities, including preparing the indoor and outdoor environments, setting up interest centres, and preparing and clearing away materials and supplies. • Manage children's behaviour and guide their social development, implementing the agreed behaviour management strategies and techniques consistently, including individual behaviour support plans where applicable. • Supervise the daily routine of children and support the morning and afternoon program. • Supervise children in indoor and outdoor recreational activities. • Entertain children by reading and playing games, speaking to them in a friendly, courteous manner and encouraging them to communicate in order to extend their vocabulary and use of language. • Supervise the hygiene of children and attend to their health and safety needs, including cleaning and disinfecting the equipment and resources used in the room. • Develop and maintain children's learning documentation, including observations, work samples and developmental summaries. • Inform parents about the program and consult with them about their children's individual needs. • Treat each child with dignity and respect, taking into account any cultural, socioeconomic or other differences. And a profound commitment to keeping children safe. • ACECQA-approved qualification appropriate to the role (Bachelor of Early Childhood for ECT; Diploma or Cert III for Educator). • At least 12 months of full-time or equivalent part-time relevant work experience. • Sound working knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). • Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain). • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification (or willingness to obtain). • Strong communication skills and a warm, collaborative approach with children, families and colleagues.
