SPYDER MOTORS PTY LTD is currently seeking an experienced Carpenter to work across our clients’ construction projects, including residential homes, commercial buildings, and public spaces throughout New South Wales and Western Australia. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality construction outcomes. Position Details Position: Carpenter – Full-Time Salary: A$90,000–A$98,000 per annum, plus superannuation Location: Various project sites across NSW and WA Work arrangement: In person Skills and Experience Successful applicants should demonstrate the following: A minimum of three years of relevant carpentry experience. Certificate III in Carpentry or an equivalent qualification. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering plans, and technical drawings. Valid driver’s licence and access to reliable transport are preferred. Good physical fitness, strength, and stamina. A high level of accuracy and precision. Good communication and teamwork skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering plans to accurately measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials. Construct, install, maintain, and repair walls, floors, ceilings, stairs, door frames, windows, cabinets, and other timber structures and fixtures. Ensure all carpentry work complies with applicable building codes, workplace safety requirements, and quality standards. Safely and efficiently operate hand tools, power tools, and relevant machinery. Estimate the materials, labour, and project costs required and assist with preparing detailed work plans. Collaborate with architects, contractors, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements and specifications are met. Assist with supervising and coordinating junior carpenters and other site workers when required. Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and workmanship before final installation or project handover. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment during and after the completion of each project. Identify and resolve on-site issues efficiently to help keep projects on schedule.
