Sales Assistant

Leedal Pty Ltd is one of Western Australia’s leading Indigenous-owned organizations, playing a vital role in the economicdevelopment of Fitzroy Crossing. As the trustee for the FitzroyCrossing Trust, Leedal supports six local Indigenouscorporations, ensuring responsible management of keycommunity assets and businesses. We are actively seeking for 4 Sales Assistants to work with us at Tarunda IGA, located in Fitzroy Crossing. This role is available for a four years period, commencing in December, 2026. The hourly rate will be in accordance with the General RetailIndustry Award (MA000004), Retail Employee Level 1. The position operates on a seven-day rotating roster, which mayinclude weekend shifts. List of duties • Greet customers when they walk through the door • Ask customers what they are looking for and show them atleast three or four models • Build rapport through conversation and honestrecommendations • Stocking and restocking merchandise as needed • Cleaning the store as needed • Liaising with managers as needed • Receiving product deliveries Requirements of the role • Effective communication skills • Provide excellent customer service • Commitment to following established procedures and health & safety practices • Guaranteed commitment to shift times; being flexible and punctual Training will be provided to ensure familiarity with products and workplace procedures.
