Dongara Marine are looking for a friendly, organised, and detail-oriented Accounts Clerk & Payroll Officer to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities
Payroll Administration
• Review and approve employee timesheets
• Process weekly payroll
• Maintain accurate employee records
• Respond to payroll enquiries and ensure payroll compliance with legislative requirements. Maintain confidentiality of payroll, financial, and employee records.
Accounts Administration
• Process and enter supplier invoices into the project management/accounting system.
• Maintain accurate records and filing systems.
• Manage petty cash, including reconciliation and data entry into MYOB.
• Process and coordinate Boat Slip Requests and maintain associated records.
• Support general administration and finance functions as required.
Skills & Experience
• Previous experience in payroll, accounts payable, or an accounts clerk role.
• Experience using MYOB
• Strong data entry and reconciliation skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong organisational, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Understanding of payroll legislation and financial administration processes.
