We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated culinary professional who wants to take ownership of the kitchen, contribute creative ideas to our menu and help lead a dedicated team. You will play a key role in shaping the dining experience and maintaining the high standards our customers expect.

Task & responsibilities

• Plan and design menus, estimate food and labour costs, and order food supplies to meet business needs.
• Oversee the quality of dishes at every stage of preparation and presentation to ensure consistent standards.
• Liaise with managers, dietitians, kitchen staff and front-of-house staff to resolve food preparation issues.
• Demonstrate cooking techniques and provide guidance to kitchen staff on correct procedures.
• Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes to a high standard.
• Communicate, implement and enforce food safety and hygiene regulations in the kitchen.
• Assist in the selection and training of kitchen staff as required.
• Freeze and preserve food using appropriate methods where required.
• Plan and coordinate the overall preparation and cooking of food within the establishment.

Qualification & experience

• Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience working as a Chef.
• Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
