Senior Team Leader/Supervisor

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast paced environment and is ready to take on additional responsibility within the store. You will work alongside the Store Manager to help lead the team and ensure the restaurant operates smoothly, efficiently and to a high standard.

Task & responsibilities

• Supporting the Store Manager with the day-to-day operation of the business
• Supervising and supporting team members during shifts
• Assisting with shift organisation and staff breaks
• Helping train and develop new and existing team members
• Opening and closing the restaurant
• Cash handling, till reconciliation and banking
• Ordering and receiving stock
• Monitoring stock levels and helping minimise food waste
• Completing daily and weekly food safety requirements
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the restaurant
• Ensuring cleaning schedules and store procedures are completed
• Helping maintain strong productivity and labour control during shifts
• Responding to customer enquiries and resolving concerns professionally
• Ensuring Subway procedures and company policies are followed
• Taking responsibility for the restaurant when the Store Manager is not present
• Providing friendly and professional customer service
• Preparing Subway products to brand and food safety standards

Qualification & experience

The ideal candidate will have an AQF certificate II or III relevant to the Retail or Hospitality industry.

Previous experience in Subway, fast food, hospitality, retail or a supervisory position is essential if no formal qualifications are held.

Training can be provided to the right person with the right attitude.

• Can remain calm and organised during busy periods

• Has strong attention to detail

• Is willing to learn all aspects of running the restaurant

• Understands the importance of food safety, cleanliness and presentation

• Is available across a range of shifts, including some evenings and weekends

Salary: $68000-75000
