Job Type: Full-Time Location: SHOP-1, GOULBURN MARKETPLACE, 12-30 VERNER STREET GOULBURN, NSW 2580 Salary: $80,000 Full Job Description: · Collaborate with Chef in the preparation and cooking of a variety of dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner in accordance with the menu and established recipes. · Prepare and cook assigned dishes to the required standards of quality, taste, consistency and presentation. · Preparation of speciality and in-house menu items, including accommodating reasonable customer requests and dietary requirements. · Support daily kitchen operations by carrying out food preparation duties, handling ingredients correctly and keeping work areas organised and efficient. · Support daily stock handling by checking, organising and storing ingredients and supplies under the direction of the Chef. · Monitor the quality and freshness of ingredients and report any issues. · Plate and garnish prepared dishes according to the business’s presentation and portioning requirements. · Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure food is prepared and served efficiently during busy service periods. Qualification and Experience · Minimum 1 year experience in a busy kitchen environment · Certificate IV or higher Commercial Cooking · Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. · Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
