The Supply and Distribution Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient procurement, storage, and distribution of goods. This role ensures inventory availability, while maintaining quality excellence and compliance with company standards.

Task & responsibilities

Inventory & Warehouse Management

• Oversee inventory control, stock levels, and replenishment to meet operational requirements
• Implement best practices for warehouse operations, including safety, security, and compliance.
• Using ‘Unleashed ’to ensure accurate inventory records through regular audits and reporting.
• Help develop and maintain efficient processes for stock management, order tracking, and delivery planning

Distribution & Logistics

• Plan and manage transportation and distribution strategies to meet service level agreements.
• Identify areas for process improvements and propose actionable solutions to optimise delivery routes, schedules, and modes of transport to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Coordinate with third-party logistics providers to ensure service reliability

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supply and distribution staff.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, and finance to align supply chain strategies with business goals.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualification & experience

• Proven leadership experience in managing teams and large-scale operations.
• Strong knowledge of warehousing, and transportation practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Forklift licence advatageous.
• Tertiary qualifications or extensive relevant experience required.

Job Type:  Full time, 40 hours per week
