- Developing and managing project plans, schedules and governance activities to ensure successful project delivery.
- Coordinating project reporting, stakeholder communications and executive briefings to provide clear updates on progress, risks and outcomes.
- Monitoring project budgets, procurement activities and contract administration to support effective financial management.
- Identifying, assessing and managing project risks, issues and dependencies, while implementing mitigation strategies to maintain project performance.
- Analysing project, operational and workforce data to identify trends, support decision-making and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Preparing high-quality business documentation, reports, dashboards and reporting tools while ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements.
- Strong understanding of project management methodology, with the ability to develop and maintain project artefacts to support planning, monitoring, and delivery.
- Well-developed Microsoft 365 skills.
- Advanced communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships and manage expectations.
- Strong organisational skills and experience in government administration, enabling efficient and compliant project delivery.
- Australian Citizenship is required.
- 12-month contract with possibility of extension or permanency.
- Hybrid working arrangement - based in Newcastle, NSW.
- Hourly rate of $60.26 + super.
