Elite Hair Clinic

We're looking for a Medical Technician to join our procedural team. You'll support Dr Will Jarvis and the team across each patient's journey, from pre-operative preparation through theatre to post-operative follow-up.

You'll provide hands-on technical and procedural support during FUE hair transplant procedures, including patient observations, theatre preparation, graft handling and patient monitoring.

This is a hands-on, detail-heavy role. It suits someone who enjoys precise work and cares about patient experience.

• Assist the doctor and procedural team during FUE hair transplant procedures, including the preparation and handling of follicular grafts, instruments and medical equipment.
• Prepare, clean, sort and handle follicular grafts under the doctor's direction.
• Record and monitor patient observations, including blood pressure, pulse, SpO2 and temperature, and perform ECG recordings before and during procedures.
• Collect blood samples via venepuncture and perform urinalysis.
• Prepare and check medical equipment used during FUE procedures, ensuring equipment is correctly set up and functioning.
• Prepare workstations, theatre and surgical instruments before procedures and provide technical and procedural support throughout the procedure.
• Sterilise instruments and maintain equipment in accordance with infection control requirements, including clinical waste management.
• Support post-operative patient care and follow-up communications.
• Support stock and equipment management and assist with training new team members.

About you

• AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in a relevant medical, allied health or clinical field, or at least three years of relevant work experience in a medical, clinical or surgical support setting in lieu of a formal qualification
• Experience working in a clinical or surgical environment is highly regarded
• Hair transplant experience is highly regarded
• Experience with venepuncture, ECGs, patient observations and medical monitoring equipment
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform fine, precise work
• Able to maintain concentration over long procedure days
• Physically fit, with the stamina for full days on your feet
• Excellent written and spoken English
• A warm, calm and patient-first manner
• Able to work effectively as part of a small procedural team
