Benefits

$72,000 – $80,000 base salary + superannuation per annum

Task & responsibilities

As a baker at Cowaramup French Bakery Patisserie, you will be responsible but not limited to:

• Preparing and baking bread, rolls, cakes, pies and pastries, following established recipes and production schedules
• Ensuring baked goods meet quality standards for taste, appearance, and texture
• Recommending recipes to refresh our menu and bring in new customers (e.g. gluten-free or vegan desserts)
• Managing raw material inventory of baking ingredients and supplies
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the baking area, tools, and equipment to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
• Supporting in training baking team when required

Qualification & experience

• Minimum Certificate III in Bread Baking
• Minimum 1-2 years of full-time experience or equivalent in relevant roles

Skills

• Strong knowledge of baking processes and equipment
• Ability to work early mornings and in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Team player with good communication skills

We create a wide range of breads, rolls, pastries and other sweet treats for our local community, and welcome them to our open production kitchen and cafe space.
