Sana Freo is seeking an experienced and motivated Cook to join our busy kitchen team in Fremantle. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who is passionate about preparing high-quality meals and contributing to a fast-paced dining environment.

Task & responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of menu items in accordance with recipes and venue standards.
• Assist with food preparation for breakfast, lunch and dinner service periods.
• Ensure all meals are prepared and presented consistently to a high standard.
• Monitor portion control and minimise food wastage.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen workstations and equipment.
• Assist with stock rotation, storage and inventory management.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak periods.

Qualification & experience

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification, or at least three years of relevant experience.
• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment.
• Sound understanding of food handling, food safety and hygiene requirements.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
