Vacancy Number: 029660 Vacancy End Date: 18-06-2027 Agency: Department of Education and Training Number of Vacancies: 1 Work Unit Student Wellbeing and Inclusion Programs and Services - Client Services Located in: Nhulunbuy Primary Objective: School Social Workers work within regional teams providing direct service delivery to schools across their region. They follow the Multi-tiered System of Support framework to build the capability of educators to support students to maximise their educational outcomes. School Social Workers provide support to schools to improve the wellbeing and safety of students through evidence-based interventions. Consultation, planning, and short-term individual supports are provided to address student behaviour, wellbeing and social emotional concerns that may be having a direct impact on educational outcomes. Selection will be made at the P2 or P3 level depending on the experience-qualifications of the successful applicant.
