Telecommunications Technical Officer/Technologists will work on diverse range of telecommunication network and infrastructure projects in South Australia, Victoria  and other locations in Australia.

Task & responsibilities

• Planning network installations, providing technical advice and information, and monitoring the performance of complex telecommunications networks and equipment
• Providing ongoing support in operations including designing, optimising, diagnosing, repairing and resolving of telecommunications network performance malfunctions, defects and faults
• Installation, maintaining, repairing and diagnosing malfunctions of telecommunication system.
• Integrating network and telecommunications technology with computer software and hardware systems.
• Developing and recording logs of the details, locations and status of inventories, parts, equipment and instruments and maintaining the documentation of all the standard procedures followed.
• Working under safe and secure environment by maintaining rules, regulations, standards and codes.
• Managing fiber cable hauling for LFN/DFN networks and laying of ducts and conduits.

Qualification & experience

• AQF associate degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma. 
• At least three years of relevant experience or relevant vendor certification may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience is Mandatory. 
• Experience of working in Confined Space

Preferred

• White Construction Card
• NBN Enable Card
• Workzone Management Traffic Card
