Responsibilities · Provide technical support for residential and commercial battery energy storage systems, hybrid inverters, solar PV systems and backup power solutions. · Diagnose and resolve inverter, battery, communication and system performance issues using technical documentation, monitoring data and fault records. · Support system configuration, commissioning, testing and ongoing performance optimisation. · Provide technical guidance to installers and customers on fault diagnosis, troubleshooting and corrective actions. · Assist with technical escalations and coordinate with internal engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues. · Review and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, product manuals and technical specifications to support troubleshooting and system implementation. · Provide technical support relating to battery management systems, energy management systems, metering, current transformers and communication protocols such as Modbus and RS485. · Support compliance with relevant Australian electrical standards, grid connection requirements and distribution network service provider processes. · Prepare technical service records and clearly communicate technical findings and recommended solutions to customers, installers and internal teams. · Work closely with sales and product teams to provide technical advice on customer enquiries and project-specific product suitability. About you Experience · At least 2 years of relevant engineering work experience. · Candidates must have relevant engineering work experience in both China and Australia. · Candidates must be able to use both Chinese and English as working languages. Skills and Competencies · Strong knowledge of residential and commercial battery energy storage systems, hybrid inverters, solar PV systems and backup power applications. · Ability to diagnose inverter, battery, communication and system performance faults using technical documentation, monitoring data and fault records. · Ability to support system configuration, commissioning, testing and ongoing performance optimisation. · Understanding of battery management systems, energy management systems, metering, current transformers and common communication protocols, including Modbus and RS485. · Ability to interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, product manuals and technical specifications. · Working knowledge of Australian electrical standards, grid connection requirements and distribution network service provider processes relevant to inverter and battery installations. · Ability to guide installers and customers through fault isolation, corrective actions and technical escalations while observing electrical safety requirements. · Clear technical communication and documentation skills, including preparing service records and explaining findings to customers, installers and internal engineering teams. · Ability to work with sales and product teams on technical enquiries and project-specific product suitability.
