We are currently recruiting Industrial Painters for a premier defence contractor in Osborne, SA. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-profile maritime projects - preparing, blasting, and painting ships and submarines for Australia's defence fleet.
Whether you want consistent day hours or lucrative shift work, we have immediate starts available with pathways to permanent roles and funded ticket upgrades.
What We Offer
- Top-Tier Pay: $45.00 - $59.00/hr (commensurate with experience) + penalty rates
- Shift Flexibility: Standard Day Shift (6:45 AM - 3:15 PM) or Afternoon Shift options

About the Role
- Surface preparation, abrasive blasting, and industrial painting (spray, brush, and roller)
- Working on specialised maritime vessels, including in confined space environments
- General site preparation and equipment maintenance
- Working collaboratively in a safety-focused team environment
- Adhering strictly to Work Health & Safety (WHS) defence protocols
What You Need to Succeed
- Must be in Australia with Full work rights
- Proven industrial or commercial painting experience (spray, brush, roller, and surface prep)
- Confined Space Ticket (issued or refreshed within the last 2 years)
- White Card
- Police Clearance (dated within the last 3 months, or willing to obtain)
- High Risk Work Licence (EWP, Boom Lift, etc.) is highly regarded
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and a clean safety record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including initial and ongoing drug & alcohol screening
