Cocktail Bar Manager – Spice Nightlife Fortitude Valley, Brisbane | Full-Time Spice Nightlife is looking for an experienced Cocktail Bar Manager to join our team and take ownership of our bar operation. We’re a family-owned and operated business, and we’re looking for someone who wants to become an important part of what we’re building — not just someone looking for their next hospitality job. This is a hands-on management role for someone who loves great cocktails, knows how to lead a team and thrives in a busy nightlife environment. The Role As our Cocktail Bar Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading the bar team and helping us continually improve the drinks experience at Spice. You’ll be involved in: Leading, training and motivating our bar team Creating and developing new cocktails and cocktail menus Maintaining consistently high standards of drink presentation and service Working behind the bar and leading from the front during busy services Training staff in cocktail techniques, product knowledge and service Managing stock, wastage and bar costs Helping develop systems that make the bar faster, smoother and more profitable Working closely with the owners and management team on new ideas, events and promotions Who We're Looking For You’ll need to have strong cocktail experience and previous experience leading a hospitality team. We’re looking for someone who: Has solid experience making high-quality cocktails in a busy venue Can confidently design and develop new cocktails Has previous bar management, supervisory or team-leadership experience Knows how to train and get the best out of a team Is organised, reliable and comfortable taking responsibility Understands stock control, costs and wastage Can keep standards high when the venue gets busy Brings ideas to the table rather than simply waiting to be told what to do Most importantly, we want someone with the right attitude.
