Hiring Pressure Piping Welder - Full time

• Be confident welding both carbon steel and pressure piping from 50NB to 750NB, using TIG root with Flux cap, mainly welded under rotation that will meet 6G testing requirements.
• Must have a relevant 3 years’ experience.
• Experience in TIG Welding, STT & Flux Core Pipe Welding
• Demonstrated experience working as a steel fabricator.
• GMAW and FCAW Competent.

FOR ON-SITE POSITIONS (FIFO):

To be eligible for the role you must possess the following tickets and qualifications:       

• White Construction Card
• Previous experience in the similar roles
• Australian Drivers’ License
• Confined Space Entry (Within 2 years)
• Working at Heights (Within 2 years)
• Must be physically fit.
• Reading & interpretation of illustrations
• Inspection of assemblies and installations against specifications
• Ability to fault find and think on your feet.
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Responsible for the quality of your own work
• Trade Certificate in Welding or Fabrication

Position Requirements:

• Must have high attention to detail.
• Must be safety conscious and focused.
• Must be physically fit.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
• Working Right in Australia (Provide visa copy).

Desired but not essential:

• HRWL- EWP
• Gas Testing Atmosphere
• Basic Fire
