The Role

As part of our housekeeping and operations team, you will help maintain our holiday accommodation properties to a high standard, ensuring they are clean, well presented and ready for our guests.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning and preparing holiday accommodation properties to a high standard.
• Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and common areas.
• Making beds and changing linen.
• Vacuuming, mopping, dusting and cleaning surfaces.
• Cleaning appliances and other household areas as required.
• Restocking guest amenities and household supplies.
• Performing quality checks across our holiday homes and monitoring cleaning standards.
• Inspecting properties and identifying cleaning, maintenance or presentation issues.
• Reporting damage, missing items and maintenance issues.
• Taking care of small, straightforward issues yourself where possible and reporting anything requiring further attention.
• Following Swell Stays cleaning procedures, checklists and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Maintaining a consistently high standard of cleanliness and presentation across our properties.

Office & Guest Support

This position also includes a guest and office support component. Your responsibilities will include:

• Answering guest phone calls and emails.
• Assisting guests with questions and issues during their stay.
• Working closely with our concierge and operations team.
• Communicating professionally with guests and property owners.
• Helping coordinate any property issues identified during inspections.

Qualifications & Experience

To be considered for this position, you will need:

At least 12 months of experience as a Commercial Housekeeper.

Excellent attention to detail and high cleaning standards.

The ability to inspect properties and recognise cleaning, maintenance and presentation issues.

The ability to take initiative and deal with straightforward issues independently.

Confidence working independently as well as part of a team.

Strong organisation and communication skills.

Fluent written and spoken English; this is essential, as you will regularly communicate with guests and property owners.

Salary: $70000-80000
