Are you a reliable, hardworking civil labourer looking for your next challenge? Randstad is currently seeking expressions of interest for civil labourer roles within local councils across the metro and northern areas.

What You'll Be Doing

Your day-to-day will be varied and physically active, supporting road maintenance projects. Tasks include:

• Road Maintenance & Repair: Performing hands-on construction tasks, including pothole patching, asphalt laying, and extensive manual shovelling and raking.

• Vegetation & Grounds Work: Assisting with rural tree trimming, clearing debris, and operating handheld equipment like chainsaws and pole saws.

• Site Support & Groundwork: Handling materials, manual slinging and shifting of cement pipes, and spotting for equipment operators to ensure site safety.

• Worksite Preparation: Loading and unloading materials, setting up hand tools, and maintaining clean, safe sites.

Licences and Qualifications Highly Desired:

• Medium Rigid (MR) Licence: Mandatory.

• White Card: General construction induction.

• Physical Fitness: Capability to comfortably perform manual labour in outdoor conditions.
