The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Radiographer to join our Quality and Clinical Care Team. In this role, you will provide mammography screening services, support clients throughout their screening journey, maintain equipment quality standards, and contribute to a positive and professional team environment.
This position is primarily based within BreastScreen Victoria's Mobile Screening Service, that travels across Regional Victoria and other fixed BreastScreen Victoria sites as required, you will operate both independently and collaboratively while ensuring compliance with BreastScreen Australia National Accreditation Standards (NAS) and professional practice requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality mammography screening services in accordance with BreastScreen Australia standards.
- Provide professional, compassionate and client-centred care throughout the screening experience.
- Undertake quality assurance activities and support the safe operation of mammography equipment.
- Assist with clinic administration, data management and reception duties as required.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment and ongoing service improvement initiatives.
About You
- Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner.
- Bachelor Degree in Medical Radiation Science (Medical Imaging) or equivalent recognised qualification.
- Minimum two years' experience as a Radiographer.
- Eligibility for, and willingness to obtain, a Victorian Radiation Use Licence.
- Strong communication, customer service and teamwork skills.
- Mammography or breast screening experience (essential).
- Experience working in a mobile or regional healthcare environment (desired but not essential).
