Registered Nurse - Medical Practice

Plexus Health (South Melbourne) Pty Ltd is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Registered Nurse to join our healthcare practice in South Melbourne.

The successful applicant will provide high-quality nursing care and clinical support to patients and work collaboratively with medical practitioners and allied health professionals as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key responsibilities

• Providing nursing care and clinical support to patients.
• Assisting medical practitioners with patient assessment, treatment and procedures.
• Monitoring patients and maintaining accurate clinical records.
• Administering medications and treatments within scope of practice.
• Providing health education and advice to patients.
• Supporting preventative healthcare and chronic disease management.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential clinical records.
• Maintaining compliance with relevant clinical, professional and workplace standards.
• Working collaboratively with doctors, allied health professionals and administrative staff.

Skills and experience

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Relevant nursing qualification.
• Previous experience in a medical practice/general practice environment is desirable.
• Strong clinical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Commitment to providing professional, patient-centred care.

• Full-time employment of 38 hours per week.
• $48–$52 per hour plus superannuation.
