Be part of a multidisciplinary Cancer Centre supporting patients across their treatment journey. Work Monday to Friday in a diverse clinical environment spanning consultation, treatment and follow-up care. Support patients and families who may be experiencing complex, vulnerable or challenging circumstances. What you'll be doing As a Registered Nurse in Radiation Oncology and Cancer Clinics, you'll provide individualised nursing care and help patients navigate their radiation treatment journey. You'll assess needs, manage treatment-related toxicities and collaborate with the wider team to achieve safe, timely and culturally appropriate care. Key responsibilities will be to: Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate individualised nursing care for patients receiving radiation treatment. Manage and respond to treatment-related toxicities, escalating concerns and coordinating appropriate clinical support. Support patient flow from initial consultation and assessment through radiation treatment and follow-up clinics. Act as a key contact or case manager for patients with complex care needs, working closely with patients, carers and the multidisciplinary team. Contribute to clinical education, quality improvement and evidence-based nursing practice, while supporting the development of colleagues and students. Ready for your next move? Essential Requirements: Registration: Currently authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) - Division 1 Selection Criteria: Demonstrated post registration experience in acute surgical, medical or palliative care settings as deemed appropriate by WSLHD Effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients and other stakeholders Ability to effectively prioritise, coordinate and manage a busy workload. Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement principles and improved health outcomes Evidence of computer literacy and understanding of relevant health related information systems.
