My Australia Direct is hiring a full time Publican who will be responsible for the full management of Watson EQ. This includes oversight of daily venue operations, long-term business growth, and maintaining exceptional service standards in a high-volume hospitality environment. 

Typical job duties include:

• Responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the entire venue, from bar, function and conference activities. 
• Oversee the implementation of venue promotions, pricing updates and POS system controls to support revenue growth and service delivery.
• Oversee guest reservations and front-of-house activities to provide a welcoming experience.
• Coordinate with suppliers to manage inventory levels, including arranging the collection of kegs and ensuring adequate beer gas supply.
• Monitor and control stock to minimise wastage and manage costs effectively.
• First point of contact for all staff, inclusive of duty managers when making decisions regarding operations, staffing or service.
• Overseeing the costs and expenses to ensure a profitable operation by managing spending and monitoring wastage etc.
• Ensuring smooth service and managing feedback, complaints and crisis as well as troubleshooting any issues that arise.
• Seeking solutions to improve the efficiency of service from all aspects and implementing procedures and checklists to manage this.
• Ensuring that all checklists for each area have been completed at EOD.
• Ensuring weekly tasks are completed by all management including ordering, cleaning, and servicing.
• Develop and implement weekly health and safety checklists to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Supervise security arrangements and coordinate property maintenance as needed.

Experience required:

• Diploma qualification in hospitality 
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in hotel/hospitality management
• Experience of working to tight timeframes for demanding clients
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proven ability to enhance operational efficiency in hospitality venues 
• High-level financial management and cost-control skills. 
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments. 
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Experience in managing relationships with multiple parties and working with personnel in hospitality/entertainment industry
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations within the hospitality industry.

Work Type: Full time

Salary: $80000-95000
