Medical Officer, Early Phase Clinical Trials | Brisbane | $125k to $155k + super

Ready to step outside hospital medicine without stepping back? A specialist Phase 1 clinical trial site network is looking for a Medical Officer to join its Brisbane team.

What's on offer

• A clear path to Principal Investigator. Act as Co-Investigator and, when delegated, Principal Investigator on healthy volunteer studies. This is real research leadership, not just a lateral move.
• $125,000 to $155,000 plus superannuation, based on postgraduate experience.
• Full-time, permanent role with a steadier working pattern than shift-based hospital work.
• Training in research practice. No prior trials experience is required, and GCP training is a plus rather than a must.
• Contribute to the earliest stage of bringing new medicines to patients.

The role

• Medical screening and assessment of healthy volunteers
• Ongoing safety monitoring, including management of adverse events
• Investigator responsibilities on studies, delivered to protocol and GCP
• Close collaboration with clinical, scientific and sponsor teams

About you

• PGY3 minimum
• Full, unconditional AHPRA registration held for at least 2 years
• Clinical experience within the last 2 years, including cannulation
• Current Advanced Life Support training
• Motivated to make clinical research your career, not a stopgap
