Your new company
Our client is a recognised leader in the demolition, deconstruction and remediation sector, delivering complex industrial projects across Australia. Due to project demands, they are seeking experienced Excavator Operators to join their team on a FIFO basis for an immediate start.
Your new role
Working on a major project, you will be operating a 38-tonne excavator while supporting site operations in a safety-focused environment. Operators with experience in demolition, civil construction and earthworks are strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates who are multi-skilled and can operate additional mobile plants will be highly regarded.
Your duties will include:
- Operating a 38-tonne excavator safely and efficiently
- Carrying out excavation, demolition and material handling activities
- Conducting pre-start inspections and machine checks
- Working alongside site supervisors and project teams
- Maintaining compliance with site safety procedures
- Supporting general site operations as required
- Operating additional machinery where appropriately ticketed and experienced
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience operating 30T+ excavators
- Current Rio Tinto induction (essential)
- Previous civil, demolition or earthworks experience
- Multi-skilled plant operating experience highly desirable
- National Police Clearance issued within the last 3 months
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
- Availability to commence ASAP
