RETAIL MANAGER (GENERAL) ANZSCO 142111 Amquare Pty Ltd East Victoria Park, Western Australia Amsquare Pty Ltd, operating a Subway food outlet in East Victoria Park, Western Australia, is seeking an experienced and capable Retail Manager (General) to manage the day-to-day operations of the business. Position Retail Manager (General) ANZSCO: 142111 Employment Type: Full-time Location: East Victoria Park, WA Salary: 80,500 + superannuation Hours: 38 hours per week About the Role The Retail Manager (General) will be responsible for managing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the food retail outlet, ensuring efficient service delivery, appropriate staffing levels, stock management, customer service, workplace safety and compliance with relevant business and food-handling requirements. Key Responsibilities The successful applicant will be responsible for: managing the day-to-day operations of the retail food outlet; supervising and coordinating employees and allocating duties and work schedules; preparing staff rosters and ensuring appropriate staffing levels; recruiting, training, supervising and supporting staff where required; monitoring employee performance and maintaining appropriate workplace standards; overseeing customer service and resolving customer complaints and service issues; monitoring stock levels and arranging stock replenishment and ordering; maintaining appropriate stock, sales and financial records; monitoring daily sales, cash handling and transaction procedures; assisting with budgeting, cost control and operational reporting; implementing and maintaining workplace policies and procedures; ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements; ensuring food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards are maintained; coordinating with suppliers and service providers; monitoring product quality and service standards; implementing promotional and operational activities to support the business; identifying operational issues and implementing practical solutions; and ensuring the outlet operates efficiently and provides a consistently high standard of customer service. Essential Skills and Experience Applicants should have: relevant experience managing or supervising a retail, food-service or fast-food establishment; demonstrated experience supervising and coordinating staff; experience preparing staff rosters and allocating work duties; experience in stock control, ordering and inventory management; experience handling sales, cash and basic financial records; strong customer service and communication skills; the ability to manage day-to-day operational issues independently; knowledge of workplace health and safety and food hygiene requirements; and the ability to work effectively in a busy customer-facing environment. Relevant qualifications in business, retail management, hospitality or a related field will be regarded favourably. Relevant experience may also be considered.
