Your new role
As the part-time Accounts Payable Officer, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts payable function while working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure smooth financial operations.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Processing supplier invoices and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Managing accounts payable workflows and payment runs
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
  • Maintaining supplier information within accounting systems
  • Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors regarding accounts enquiries
  • Reviewing and monitoring purchase orders and invoice approvals
  • Assisting with month-end reporting processes
  • Supporting broader finance and administration functions when required
  • Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and efficiencies

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful, you will have:
  • 3-5 years experience in an Accounts Payable, Finance Administration or similar role
  • Strong data entry skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience working with accounting systems
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • A commitment to accuracy, compliance and continuous improvement
